Hi Jimsy! Yes, Target '7' from last year will be revisited with the HQ 2.5" core drill. - Check out the great T-7 graphics and explanations here: mmu.simplenet.com The Target 7 Page The scale of the massive Target 7 anomaly (about 1.5km by 1km) can be measured against the 1km reference square. Target 7 is superimposed upon a topographic contour map that indicates the anomaly forms a dome. Two streams drain the anomaly to the southeast (lower right corner) where stream sediment samples contain numerous kimberlite indicators. Holes 9, 10 and 11 were drilled during a reconnaissance program in March 1998 and volcanic ash was intersected above a hard layer which could not be penetrated by the light drill. Target 7 is a priority for the 1999 drill program. - View those beauty graphics [2]!..Outstanding indicator minerals have been recovered from the downstream drainage system. - - - - - And more Target 7 images here: mmu.simplenet.com The upper surface is the total magnetic field, a large positive feature. We are looking for bumps and ridges on the surface indicating local disruptions in the magnetic field. There are some obvious ones in this area. . . [3 images] The middle surface is processed to represent high frequency (i.e. small point targets). The vivid colors highlight the anomalies which are up to one kilometer in diametre. For reference, Target 7 is at the middle right edge of the middle surface, partly visible "under" the upper surface. The lower surface is a digital topographic map that is coincident with the two upper surfaces. - View the three 'stacked' graphics in the right frame. Nifty! - - - - - I believe Target 7, as Sudhir pointed out, is around the third, or so, target in this drill program's sequence. I thought it was the 3rd for sure, but based on the last NR's descriptions, it may be 4th or so in line... ________________ Hope this helps there, S&P Futures loco man! ;) Best always, -j :>PS, The Target 9 Page is no slouch either. It's new!:mmu.simplenet.com (Five phenom graphics on this page)Target 9 is a very interesting magnetic feature that coincides with a topographic high. It also has nearby geochemical anomalies. The anomaly seems to be associated with a fault intersection as interpreted by regional and high resolution magnetic data. The anomaly is very prominent on the 200 metre line spaced aeromagnetic dataset... The anomaly measures approximately 700 by 700 metres.
