Judging from today's performance, the rumor is BS.

The story you referenced is almost 6 months old & is reminscent of Larry's comments with regard to his interest in acquiring AAPL a year or 2 back.

Based upon the record, Larry wasn't interested in IFMX @ $6 1/2, so he most likely isn't interested in it today @ $8 3/4. Usually, if a company is about to be acquired, its stock goes up generally irrespective of overall market conditions. IFMX, today, seemed to follow the overall market.

Put the rumor to rest, Sonk.

LE is way too smart to buy IFMX now. It's really old story. He wasn't
interested in IFMX @$3, why should he now? In general, it's always
cheaper to get key programmers than buying the whole company.

Most of all, what does IFMX have that ORCL wants? NONE!
