<GTNR>

Patience may pay off Peg. The latest developments, including more buying by Watson, the ICOS and Pax deals and the Oberweiss recommendation haven't moved the stock. I'm not in any hurry.

<Oberweis Calls in to Talk Show Equipment Provider (GTNR)
Thursday, March 11, 1999
investools.com

Love 'em or hate 'em, radio and TV call-in talk shows
continue to be tremendously popular. Growth stock advisor
Jim Oberweis recommends Gentner Communications (GTNR), who
holds roughly 60% of the domestic market for the telephone
interface products used to put callers on the air. The firm
also offers top-notch audio teleconferencing products for
such places as conference rooms, distance learning centers
and courtrooms.

Oberweis finds booming sales and earnings at Gentner. Last
quarter's sales (and EPS) grew 31% (50%) to $5.3 million
($0.06) from the same period last year. The firm predicts
international business will help to maintain this robust
growth pace, as overseas sales last year rose from its
traditional 10% to above 18% (15% of the firm's total
revenue).

The full-year picture also looks compelling. Revenue (EPS)
of $13.4 million (n/a) in 1997 grew to $17.2 million ($0.18)
in 1998, and Oberweis predicts it to clock in at $22 million
($0.25) in 1999. "These shares may be appropriate for risk-
oriented investors," Oberweis says. He placed clients of his
asset management firm into approximately 100,000 shares.

For more on Jim Oberweis' recommendation see "Currently
Recommended Stocks," March 1999, The Oberweis Report. Jim
Oberweis provides supercharged, rapidly growing companies
that won't stay unknown forever; small-cap stocks with
revenue and earnings growing at least 30% and mid-caps
growing at least 20%.>

GTNR UPDATE

There have been significant developments since our last report. GTNR has received institutional attention, the shares have been under accumulation, and the Company has announced a new important relationship. Additionally, the market may be ready to begin scooping up long neglected values in the small cap arena.

RAPID GROWTH

The Oberweiss Fund has added GTNR to its portfolio and featured the stock in their March newsletter. The Oberweis Investment Philosophy:

"We look for supercharged, rapidly growing companies that won't stay unknown forever. We won't buy a small cap stock if revenue and earnings aren't growing at least 30%."

NEW PRODUCT INTRODUCTION

Gentner Communications has entered the video conferencing arena with the introduction of the Audio Perfect=AE Video 200 (APV200) video conferencing system. MS Sans SerifThe new RSIS bundled AudioPerfect is capable of interconnecting 50+ monitors and microphones in any size room or hall for video confrencing. The Company has announced that shipment of the new product has already commenced.

NEW BUSINESS RELATIONSHIP

One of the fundamental building blocks behind Gentner's success to date is management's ability to develop symbiotic business relationships. The Company has now announced an agreement with IKON Office Solutions

IKON is a leader in providing solutions to large corporations. The APV200 is targeted for sale to large corporations.

INSTITUTIONAL BUYING

We pointed out that Watson Investors had taken a position in GTNR. We have learned that Watson has since then increased their position.

TECHNICAL ANALYSES

When first featured, we advised that the stock had some technical work to do. It appears that most of that work has been done. MACD is now turned positive and a buy signal has been given. Stochastics are in an uptrend, moving into the 70 area. Volume has been increasing. All good indicators of a move to the upside. With a close over 4 with strong volume will comfirm the other TA indicators.

From the TEXAS BOPPER:

BOP : Postitive for several weeks and would support a strong upmove.

MoneyStream is trending sideways in the upper quadrant; above it's moving average and poised for a move.

TSV: The shorter term 18 day TSV gave a buy signal on Friday breaking out from a double bottom configuration. The 34 day TSV is positive and above it's 13 day MA.

A very short term stochastic that I follow, the 8/4/6 is in a symmetrical triangle with a potential ascending bottom on the right side of the formation. The 26/9/13 sto looks quite strong. As indicated, the TA picture on GTNR looks much improved from our original analysis.
