Would not a savvy executive also NOT have joined VLNC if he had doubt about the immediate financial condition of the company?

The flip side, of course, is that a CFO of significant calibre would be a sure sign of financial health/prospects....no?

Keeping all my parts crossed...too.

FMK> I agree about the hiring of key senior personnel, at this point in time a COO seems to point to only one thing; imminent constant volume production. In regards to a CFO, in my post last night concerning Bruce Hinkley I forgot to mention that judging from his length of employment with IWERKS he was almost surely hired by Mr. Wright. It seems logical that Mr. Wright would want some say in the CFO hire and he may very well be comfortable with Hinckley. duckster

Some thoughts on the new hire.

Unemployed for the last year?

Ex-CEO of an entertainment company whose stock price has fallen from $35 to $1 over the last several years.

What does the ex-CEO of a failing entertainment company know about making batteries?

Looks to me like a sure sign VLNC shareholders are soon to be rich!
