I thought that that story was more like 18 months old. LE said that
he would buy it if it was "cheap enough" shortly after IFMX crashed.
An interview I read that had more details also said he would buy
almost anything if it was "cheap enough", so I think that he was
probably asked the question in a way that made it impossible to
answer "no".
