Telling? How?... Anyway, I think that the sodomy laws should generally be expunged, but I also think that is different, for the reasons I have earlier cited.
You may be surprised to know that I like Nietzsche, and know a good deal of his work. One of the reasons is that he basically says to atheists:"Okay, suppose there is no God. Then there is no metaphysical basis for claiming that a certain set of ethics is unconditionally correct. Therefore, we are at liberty to examine which values promote the kind of society, the kind of people, we want, and to promote those values." I am suggesting that the right of contract is not absolute, and that society has a right to promote the values it wishes. Since it is better to leave people alone in most instances, we concur on many issues. But there are exceptions.
