jeff. dell. saw that you got in yesterday.
you have incredible timing. i have a few shares myself i got at 81 1/2 a coupla weeks ago. looks like they get well today.

LONDON, (March 4) -- International Business Machines Corp., the No. 1 computer maker and Dell Computer Corp., the No. 1 direct seller of personal computers, said they will announce a multi-billion technology agreement today.

Senior executives from both companies will provide details at a news conference to be held in New York at 10 a.m. eastern standard time. The news conference will also be transmitted through IBM and Dell web sites.

Dell could benefit from IBM's computer services experience while IBM may be considering a partnership in selling personal computers, according to the Wall Street Journal's interactive edition, which first reported the announcement citing people familiar with the matter.

IBM's shares in Germany rose as much as 5.50 euros, or 3.57 percent, to 159.50 euros ($173.22). Dell's shares rose as much as 6.40 euros, or 8.94 percent, to 78 euros ($84.71) in Berlin trading.
