Bill,

Even the best networks can fail you if you don't test the motives of the people providing the data.

Do any of these people have a vested interest in maintaining a high price of gold?

I used the term "double agent" simply because you used the term "intelligence network".

I'm not saying that you're being misrepresentative. I believe you are reporting what you hear. However, what people tell us is often times completely contradictory to what they really think is occuring.

If I recall some of your posts from last year, your sources were telling a similar story about how gold had bottomed.

And it didn't.

And you may find the metaphor of "agents" to be ludicrous but we are talking big money here, and that kind of economic intelligence often is manipulated by those with something to gain.

That's why I have to look at the hard data and way the market is reacting.

What other sources besides the "highest levels of the gold industry" are you utilizing in your analysis? Don't you think that relying solely on those who have a vested interest in maintaining a high price for gold skews the analysis just a bit?

Verify and reverify from as many contrasting and objective sources as possible.

Remember these are the same people that are selling forward like crazy (according to what I'm reading out here), and want the best price possible for those sales.

Regards,

Ron

Bill, do you remember when you started that other thread last year? You know, the one about gold having completed its six month base.
My answer still stands....

Yadda,yadda...to one and all and no disrespect to anyone in particular, but...All the confident and future-looking talk and graphs won't make gold move up. If you believe in its value, BUY it. Hold on to it. Don't sell it for mere paper profit. It will then go up.

Simple, yes. No double agents. No double talk.
