It's a point. It could also be disinformation. I'm pretty sure it is what exists in the prototypes. We have disk drives whose platters spin at 150 rps. 500 rps is getting up there. The mirror and spindle would have to be very small. Micro ball bearings and/or some sort of exotic lubricant would also be needed. How do you make it spin? Belt drive?? Gears? Magnetic fields? Air blower? Pulsed laser? Maybe the dentist's drill is the idea. Whizzz.
