You heard right. The activity I refer to is the solicitation of consignments. Both cos. have opened offices in K.L. for just that purpose. Neither is holding any auctions here that I know of. If you check the catalogs for the last year you will see that a preponderance of the auctions are being held in New York, Los Angeles, Munich, London, etc.

Yet I never met anyone from either company until I came here.

Don't forget the supply side of the equation. Markets are made by motivated sellers as well as buyers. <G>

Now here is a question for you: The father and son were involved in a terrible accident. The father was killed. The son needed urgent surgery. But at the hospital the Physician exclaimed "I can't operate on this boy...he is my son!" Why? <G>
