It's not my kind of a trade. I don't short stocks more than 2-3 days at a time and by definition will not buy puts. I'll sell either puts or calls to hedge my positions. I expect Dell to decline significantly, but I'll trade it both long and short all the way down.

BTW, most big cap stocks are overvalued, IMO. It's just that stocks like Dell that are trading far above their historical P/E's while at the same time growth is slowing, have further to fall. I expect Dell to be a good trading stock for the next few years with a range of 20-100 (presplit) over that time.
