Larry, Showscan today is at 16 cents. At the time of the proposed merger with IWRK it was well over $1, and on a downward skid even then from over $8. It is possible, however, that Mr. Wright saw something that no one else saw--and no one ever will, either: That in combining the two companies, one successful company would emerge. This didn't happen, and both of their stocks have tumbled ever since. He saw this defeat coming, perhaps, and left in disgust. Only a hypothesis, but certainly a possibility.

I am suggesting that Mr. Wright is a visionary, and Mr. Lev Dawson, Valence's very own long-time visionary, recognizes a kindrid spirit in our newest officer.

If he is in fact the Wright man (sorry) for the job, and Mr. Dawson and his illustrious, everything-to-lose board of directors obviously believe him to be, then I suspect your shortsightedness will land you in a world of financial hurt, very soon. You and your agenda will be bounced from here to Korea and (maybe) back again!

Haven't read how many batteries have been produced? Do you think Bert Roberts, Alan Shugart, and the rest are really wrong? Do you really think that you know better how to run their business? Have you not read the patent royalties that are likely for Valence, on top of the battery profits themselves? Now ask yourself, would Lev and the others bring in somebody who would screw up the works at this late stage?

Larry, I have always respected your presence here, as you bring up different angles for discussion so we longs don't just sit around here clapping each other on the back for our smart investment in VLNC(!). But give it a rest for a change, at least for a while, and give the man a chance. I trust my board of directors to make the right decisions. I trust them far more than I trust virtually anonymous posters who have obvious negative biases. But thank you for *trying* to save us! I-I-I have become comfortably long (sorry Pink!),

Jeff HQ
