I can't answer your question re NXTL. I'm confused about what the internet connection will be at first. Apparently it's some sort of hookup to a limited portion of the internet, not the ability to cruise the net as we do on our wired pc's. I don't know how soon we'll be able to hook our pc's up via wireless. I do know that all digital wireless telcos will be fighting for customers. This is not DC and NXTL will not have an exclusive or advantage - at least not for any significant length of time. Initially speed is an issue and my guess is it will be a year or more after introduction before the masses will be interested.

Wouldn't there be a capacity(no. of users) issue in connecting to the net? Too many people cruising the net and tying up air time. Maybe someone could help me out here, is it true that each of nextel's towers can only handle 20 or less customers at one time? This doesn't seem possible with the high capital investment of one tower (up to $250000 for 250 ft. tower).
