As a loooong time lurker on this thread, feel I must comment after a day when most everything else went gangbusters, and this stock barely seemed to notice. Ciena seems fairly immune (IMHO) to the movements of the market in general and just moves mostly in accordance to its own news, rumors, etc. I would guess that it basically will just mark time til the next takeover speculation begins again. This company needs to be acquired so that a full 'product line' can be offered. Perhaps by the middle of the month... i am long this stock (at a low basis) and am content just to wait a while longer to see what happens. after all, its just money! :<)
