Marie, most of us, like you, read the entire press release. It makes sense to give a number with and without a segment that is clearly failing and will be discontinued. That is what he has done. He clearly said the first number excluded this segment. What he should have done, and what you are right to criticize is not quantify these strong margin numbers. A lot of CEO's are like this, most just aren't great hard numbers guys- they understand them but feel they should focus on the qualitiative interpretation since the numbers always come out in the quarterly reporting, others might be trying to mislead by omission. You say the latter, I say the former. I have experience with both types, currently I am on a board and this is the problem I have with our CEO, even though the numbers are great. It's always hard to tell what motivates these guys and I hope SHRP gets the hint and has the CFO add a couple lines in the future.

These are also the same kind of guys that get sucked into these bogus analyst interviews such as what occurred the other day. I worked closely with a top (Canadian) analyst in a different industry for a year or so, at that time I would have been all over Dicky on the numbers, but that is because I wouldn't be interviewing him just to make everyone feel good about a coming share issue. If you want numbers, phone the CFO. This company is small time enough that you aren't likely limited to an investor relations type person that is only useful for interpreting grammar in the press release.

Looks like everyone else cleared out. You might have to move your show to the Yahoo board - more action there.

Nice to see SHRP down $3 on one of the greatest bull market weeks ever.

Just got back from vacation to see that just as I suspected February same store sales were down. And from the hinting in the press release so will March. Not only that but part of SHRP's business is falling apart.

This is a better short now considering the confirmation we have gotten from the company than it was at $15.
