Analyst on Bloomberg TV show believes tech is on way down and there will be sector rotation to.... the energy sector. Recommended Enron and SLB. Also news article on Norway cutting capex spending 20% this year.

The La Nina effect may be upon us. It would not be surprising for next weeks API/DOE numbers to be very good (especially for distillate draws) in light of cold weather in Northeast and Midwest, refiners taking maintenance breaks to boost low profit margins and refinery switches from distillates to gasoline. The analysts were faked out the last two weeks in forecasting large increases. Wonder when the analyst consensus will change from negative to positive? As the capex cuts begin to take hold, I bet it's sooner rather than later. Just hope it's not too soon because the lower the oil prices when OPEC meets, the better chance for agreement.
