You're missing the point. Nothing is PRONE to addictive behavior unless there is an INITIAL choice to engage in that behavior. I don't smoke weed and get addicted. Nor do I drink beer and get addicted. I have to make an original choice to start down that road. As I travel down it, it gets steeper in an imperceptible fashion, but the signs are evident. As I make excuses for my behavior, I KNOW what I am doing is wrong.....but I WANT to keep doing it.
I have gone through the whole addiction thing with my mom, my best friend, a grandfather, and several fraternity buddies. I am aware of what it takes to engage in an addiction. Every one recognizes that the problem is NOT alcohol, but the addict's choice to use it (or whatever).

Our discussion was not restricted to prostitution, you latched onto it. I used other behaviors to point out that as vices, they all have downsides. Prostitution is no different than any of them.
