Victor- I guess we'll have to see...but so far, it looks to me like Dell is buying from IBM (what they would have bought from someone else anyway..) in return, IBM effectively becomes part of Dell's R&D..
This is consistent with many of the deals Dell has done in the past...

This way, Dell doesn't have to try to spend the $$$ to try to build this R&D capacity (and potentially fail...)

Some like a good deal to me...

Looking at the bigger picture, since Dell and IBM are now partnering...it is not a stretch to think this could lead to bigger things (service agreements, PC agreements)...

Maybe Rude will have some additional thoughts here..
I guess we'll just have to stay tuned...
