Novell continues to have the spotlight, and Eric is referred to as one
of the 15 "power brokers" of the future in this week's press highlights.

1. "Novell's sales up 13 percent" CNET, 2/25/99; Ben Heskett

Novell continues to show strong results as it announces a 13 percent
increase in sales and a double in earnings over last year. Heskett
notes 88 percent of Novell's revenue for the quarter was related to
directory software, with sales of NetWare with NDS totaling $146
million. Heskett also reports that Novell's stock "blew away"
estimates for its previous quarter.

Wong outlines Oracle's plans to add new directory software to its
upcoming Oracle 8i database. The new directory will integrate with
Novell's NDS and support 500 million entries.

single sign on across all Novell and Oracle Directories in the network. –

Celebrating the publication's 15th anniversary, this week's issue of
PC Week included a special section featuring articles recognizing the
important companies and individuals of the last 15 years. In "Making
a difference," Bridges highlights 16 companies that have shown the
most "vision, ingenuity and courage." Recognizing Novell, Bridges
says the company "made a difference" by making the corporate LAN
a reality. Although it has had difficulties in recent years, Bridges
comments that Eric Schmidt's leadership and delivery of products
such as NetWare 5 and NDS have brought the company back the
spotlight.

Margaret Kane, Rob O'Regan and Erica Schroeder)

PC Week chose Eric Schmidt as one of the 15 "power brokers" of
the future. PC Week notes that Schmidt has shown his power by
targeting the directory market, striking deals with key industry
vendors and refocusing Novell to work with Microsoft rather than
against it.

Elgin shows Novell's caching prowess as he announces Novell's
recent partnership with Mirror Image. The partnership makes
BorderManager Enterprise Edition 3 compatible with Mirror Image's
subscription-based caching service, allowing users to eliminate most
long-haul Web requests by regionally serving most Web pages.

are "on the rebound" by closely watching their progress. Using Novell

PAUL: Don't you have anything to say besides NEGATIVE to people

Personally, I like to know what people out there think of the stock
I am holding (NOVL). Somethings those thoughts just might be
their 'feelings'.

There is an old saying "Listen to your feelings".
If more people did, they would be in better shape.
