Hank--CPU's book value is $4.80 a share.
I don't place too much faith in book value because it can represent machinery and equipment that would only sell for scrap on the open market. However CPU has cash on hand at $4.41 and cash I trust a great deal.
All the Best

I agree, this IS my worst call...at least for now! Out of every single long pick, CPU has been the only one that keeled over.

I'm wondering if CPU is being relegated to the same sort of purgatory as Officemax (OMX) because of the perception that there simply is no way to quickly grow the business in face of stiff competition.

I'm going to have to visit a few more stores and talk to the RMs again.

Take a look at TECD...a distributor, but getting hammered for similar reasons as CPU.
