SUNNYVALE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 4, 1999-- SanDisk Corp. (Nasdaq:SNDK - news) announced today that it will supply to Compaq Computer
Corp. (NYSE:CPQ - news) its 20 and 40 megabyte (MB) CompactFlash(TM) (CF(TM)) memory cards as removable storage for the new Compaq Aero® 2100
Color Palm-size PC.

The Compaq Aero 2100 Color Palm-size PC is the industry's first Palm-size PC to show a reflective color Thin Film Transistor (TFT) display that is easy to read
under various lighting conditions. Using rechargeable Lithium-ion batteries, the Compaq Aero 2100 can handle up to 10 hours of continuous use. The Compaq Aero
2100 also includes Internet audio content download and playback.

Internal storage is 8MB or 16MB with a maximum internal RAM of 24MB. Both models include a specific slot for CompactFlash memory cards, invented by
SanDisk, the industry's standard memory card for the Palm-size Windows® CE platform. The Compaq Aero 2100 has starting MSRP of $449.
