I've got Sony's new digital video camera with the small format tapes (purch in Japan). Thing runs on a Li-ion a yealds 5 hrs record time through the viewfinder and 2 hours I assume you're talking about the camcorder. Yeah I have one of those too. Well, I actually have two. One I got about 10 years ago (cost several thousand) and one I got last year (cost $700). A common trend of price errosion except in mature consumer electronics. Anyways, NMGC looks to enter the digital cameras. They replace the old cameras that use film. The digital cameras are great. I have an Olympus. Take the picture. Download it onto the computer... and then do what you want with it. The only problem is that it does not match the resolution of film. However, this will soon change. The newer cameras will have 2 million pixels. This is higher than most cameras.
