I wonder -- is Intuit dumping shares? I wouldn't be that sorry to see them go, though it would sure depress the price for a few days or weeks.

I don't think so -- in spite of what the motives may be for the the "neutral" downgrade (great oxymoron), the Street's got some pretty stringent review standards and policies for research materials that go out. This was probably a stupid oversight in an attempt to get this out the door as quickly as possible.

One other thought -- maybe a Lehman employee is a director of Intuit, which was obviously mentioned in the piece.
