I don't think the March options are dead, though that meeting date does hurt them. The stock is moving up on the basis of the expectation that the settlement will be at least 20 and probably 25. So it would make sense for the stock price to keep moving closer to those prices. Given we got to 18 today it's not unreasonable to expect 19 or higher by the end of the March options. A price of 19 would give my March 17-1/2's a value of 1-1/2 without time premium, and right now they are trading at 3/4. So my thinking is that it's not unreasonable to expect them to double from the current price before they expire since people do expect a minimal settlement at 20.

I have April 17-1/2's too, bought more of them today. Of course, they have a better chance of getting to 2-1/2 to 7-1/2 depending on the final settlement. They're trading at 1-1/4 right now. If the settlement is for 20, they get to be worth 2-1/2 and if the settlement is for 25, they get to be worth 7-1/2.

The only things I think could go wrong with this profitability expectation, (I think), is if the settlement is drawn out further than mid-April or goes for less than 19.

Can anyone punch holes in this? Please let me know if you can!
