ASCT: anyone know what is going on? Two large block sales of over 20,000 jumped price up over $1.25 per share in a couple of minutes...back down a little now.

How many times have we seen this with daytraders? They flock to whomever is putting out daytrading picks that are most popular. . thus becoming a self-fulfilling prophecy. When you have several thousand people with their fingers on their mouse ready to buy whatever symbol is next, that symbol is bound to go up. But as we have seen over and over, should some element be factored in which spoils the party, then the sheep scatter looking for the next shepherd du jour. That's why I TRY to avoid daytrades. . .and concentrate on the positions with bite. . .and why you like positions in beaten down gems. . . in the end, compare a swing trader's portfolio to a daytraders portfolio and see which has the highest percentage gains. . . And as for OTC daytraders. . well . .the only thing I can liken it to are the busses that leave each morning from Nashville for the gambling houses along the Mississippi River. Not only were they on their way to lose all their money upon arrival . . .an investigation uncovered that many were broke by the time the busses arrived at the casinos, due to illegal "pull tab" gambling that ran rampant in the busses along the way. There must be something in the human nature of many people that WANTS to be ripped off. Rande Is
