Hi Gregor,

Yes, but perhaps differently from yourself?

As mentioned with Dan, I recognize the baptism of the Holy Spirit at the moment of salvation. I don't see it as occurring as a separate event.

Being filled with the Holy Spirit for me is a profound realization of God's presence, knowing He, the Spirit is present, and almost always with purpose as I inevitably find out later or immediately with whatever transpires. At times I think it can be a simple blessing of God letting us know His love. On other occasions it is as though He takes over when witnessing/preaching.

My definition differs from those who speak of signs exhibited by that filling.

Can we dine on this topic? I enjoy comparing the scriptural references when opinions vary.

In Christ, John
