Neocon, the mob used to be very involved in alcohol distribution. Is that a legitimate argument to make liquor stores and bars against the law? It's actually a good argument to the contrary.

The mob is NOT involved in gambling. They are involved in side businesses...prostitution, loan sharking, money laundering, drugs....that they are able to steer through the casinos. That is why the casinos fight them. Because who wants the criminal element spending time trying to mess up your well-oiled machine?
