I agree, plus DELL moves inventory. So, this deal gives them a wider range of product to move, and as was mentioned previously, IBM gets to move lots of product through DELL.

This deal doesn't impact my staying long EMC or accumulating more, rather it probably keeps me from buying some NTAP, which I was planning on doing shortly. One of the feathers in their hat was an OEM agreement with DELL. NTAP was to be a fixture on DELL's NT servers. Wonder if this will be affected by the IBM deal down the road.

Interestingly, NTAP does small to mid-sized storage and has been very successful lately. DELL products will likely be more in this size range and compete with EMC and NTAP in this segment, but not with the larger systems EMC markets.
