Somewhat wary...

Yes, this could turn out to be a big deal, but lets put this into perspective: How many of TAVAs many strategic alliances worked out in dollar terms? Remember its association with that large insurer, I think February 1998? What about that group that included Viasoft and Zitel? I don't recall that exact names, just the concepts. How much money has been made from Colordao Med Tech? Remember Wonderware? These alliances all died quietly. The list goes on and on. Only the TAVA-Beck alliance has generated money, and that is chump change.

I like TAVA very much at these price levels, but these "alliances" are not investable events. I think TAVA has done much better with quiet word of mouth campaigns in association with CSC and DDIM and others.

Karl,
I have to agree with your view point on this Alliance. This Alliance is more geared toward towards those who have a shorter time frame to work in. This Alliance creates "One Stop Shopping" for those who have procrastinated. Litton put this Alliance together knowing there is a demand to meet those who by their very nature have put this off due to various reasons be it lack of belief, funds or whatever, but now have their hands forced into making sure they are prepared. A Y2K rush hour of sorts for preparedness will hit much like the rush hour in the last final minutes for those who year after year put off filing their taxes. This Alliance will give the simplicity of Y2K One Stop Shopping and it wont be free. TAVA will continue to show impressive earnings well beyond this "event" as money and contracts continue to come in. Red Chip Conference tomorrow will reiterate the TAVA story. vcall.com

The Red Chip Review Small-Cap Conference will commence on Friday, March 5, 1999 at 11:00 AM EST and will end with an industry roundtable discussion at approximately 5:50 PM EST. For more information and the schedule for the conference, please visit the Vcall website. vcall.com

Dear Karl: We dont disagree. I am only saying the CONTACTS gotten from this alliance, particularly in the Telecommunications field should bode well for TAVA regardless of the Y2K earnings from it. JDN
