Sounds to me like they are trying to beat the receivership hearing.
They can get a postponement and have enough shares to vote whatever they want into effect before another date is set.

If not, then the issues are still the same for all "outside" shareholders.

If individuals have not supported FSAAA, and think the management issue will correct itself, I personally feel they don't have to look any further than what is behind the proxy to understand where this is going.
