Merrill Lynch Research Reports...

I have been following this company since before it went public. I am not a day trader, conseqently I am not swayed by its day to day volatility or all the doomsdayers and short traders who do their best to give BRCM bad hype. If you do the research you will come to the conclusion that BRCM is an excellent long-term hold, with the potential of becoming a titan in marketplace. But, I am not here to hype the stock either. I have included some of the recent research reports from ML below. They are in PDF format so you will need acrobat to read them. Hope they are helpful.

FredE,

BRCM is in the right place at the right time. Evidence = last earnings report. I am a long term investor in companies that have strong fundamentals in place. Fundamentals can change and I must always be aware of that. But, my belief is that BRCM is going to be a big player in the growth of broadband and thus continue to exhibit strong fundamentals and long term growth.

If you have been investor for long, you will know that hypergrowth cant go on forever. Im willing to ride out the ups and downs for what I believe to be a long term payout.

My answer to your major point...what company does not have competition and thus the lowering of margins.

My Major Point:
It was interesting to note in your profile that your favorite stocks are "Shorts- Lots!!" And your interest is in NASCAR fantasyland. Sooo, unless you can show facts behind your claims, Ill base the value of your opinions with that profile in mind ;^)

Later,

MU
