"I think AOL has proved time and time again that they are masters of evolutionary transformation." Sam, I couldn't have said it better! But it just surprises me that none of the AOL investors (Or shorts) have mentioned this potential, transformation to high bandwidth access, problem AOL seemingly faces. You would think IF this issue comes to the forefront, then it would hit AOL fairly hard. Well at least temporarily it would. Interesting article you linked to about AOL's cutting edge video equipment to be housed in the new facility. Sounds to me like they are getting ready for higher bandwidth applications.
