Bill - In response to my quoting Peter Lynch you said "Peter Lynch also recommends going to the mall to select your investment targets."

Yep - and I took the worst shelling of my investing career (so far) based on that advice. I thought TDFX was a good investment at $29 a share based upon what I saw on store shelves in malls. Your point is well taken. TDFX is now around $12 a share. Ouch! However, I would note that many other investment professionals also recommend investing in stocks over time.

Regards.

P.S. I also went against Peter Lynch's advice and sold out of TDFX at a big loss and put the money into NTAP. I've made back almost half of my losses so far, while TDFX lies there like a beached whale. The moral of the story? You've got to find your own style of investing.
