I do not own AOL and am considering buying it. One question that bothers me is the impact of households switching to cable modems, and cancelling their AOL subscriptions. This means loss of revenue to AOL in two ways - loss of monthly payment, and an associated loss of e-commerce revenues. Unless AOL buys up a few Cable providers or strikes alliances with them this is a problem.

Any thoughts, anybody, on how AOL might handle this situation. Thanks in advance, and apologies if this has been asked before (I'm sure it has).
