Actually, there is some news to talk about. Yesterday's Wall Street Journal had a very negative article about a legal challenge to the patenting of genetically modified seeds. It involves a court case between Pioneer Hi-Bred International and a grower who purchased genetically modified seeds. An adverse court decision could destroy the profitability of agricultural biotech companies by preventing the patenting of genetically enhanced seeds. Another bad piece of news to factor in to the investment equation.
