That is flawed from the start. The time it would take to tear that to shreds (and it is done easily enough) is not available to me now, unfortunately.

MeDroogies: I wanted to be able to see my post to respond to you:
1). No man can take a woman to court to prevent her from terminating a pregnancy. The logic is impeccable, whether you see it or not;
2). I have a bond with my son, and I presume that you have a bond with your children. What are you talking about? We either encourage or discourage the man's sense of a stake in his offspring;
3&4). Several studies have documented this trend of sex selection, most famously one at John's Hopkins. And the number of children with congenital defects who are brought to term has gone down, although admittedly especially with diseases like Tay- Sachs that are fatal. I mentioned the business about birth control because many people profess to deplore abortion, but to want to make them rare through better access to birth control;
5). I am talking about the degree of commitment one feels, and the logic is impeccable. I merely raise questions based upon it;
6). Do you have any idea of what you are talking about? What do you think the debate about the partial birth abortion ban was about? The Pensacola clinic were the shooting occured was targeted because it performed late term abortions. Many states permit it, although only a minority of clinics perform it.;
7). I am talking about the polarization that occurs when a matter of such controversy is taken out of the realm of democratic debate and action, especially when the Court's decision is widely viewed as flawed, even by some liberals.;
8). Do you object to democracy?
