While I think abortion nothing but pure murder, and can find no rational principle by which it exists, I think many people in this country certainly ought to have it. There is quite a love in America for the emotional non-thinkism that spawned abortion. Such perverse love is especially prevalent in liberal women, who fervently embrace silly arguments to avoid proceeding in the direction indicated by logic and principle. With such people it is entirely acceptable to suck out a baby's brain or follow a flagrant cheat and likely rapist for president, these, not because they have basis in sound principle, but rather because they are convenient, allowing depravity without readily apparent consequences. As you say, abortion use in America perhaps makes a statement concerning the perceived worth of males over females, and it may increase the enmity between men and women, allowing men increased psychological freedom to use women and then abandon them when they deem it convenient. Abortion may even further separate men from their role as nurturers of their children, helping them become, similarly to the brute beast, mere sperm-banks who by law are compelled to provide sustenance to females saddled with the fruits of their passions. However it influences relations between the sexes, it is all very fine by me. The "choicers" deserve their future, and were it not for their unfortunate children and fundamental decency I would even lobby to protect a woman's “right to choose” to help bring it about. But of course conscience disallows my doing any such thing. Therefore while I am fully content to allow unchallenged access to abortion for one's own use, my goal must be to acquire freedom never to use a penny of my own produce to support such an abomination to God and man.
