A@P - for after the close unless you have time: Can you explain why it is that some stocks trade with TREMENDOUS spreads? I know that suck stocks usually have low volume and fewer competing MMs, but there is one stock I see which consistently has spreads I can't explain - sometimes 1.5 to 2 points - Exodus Communications (EXDS). They often have volume ranging from 300K to 1 million shares a day - not very high, but I don't see tyhe reason for the spreads. As I write this, I see 77 13/16 X 78 15/16. Thanks, NH
