So they do not reflect the prices that the OEM's see for K6's and they do reflect it for Intell's CPU. Hmmm?

Even so, the prices on Pricewatch are higher for K62-400 than Celelron 400. That by itself contradicts your original argument that K6 are selling based on low prices only.

Celeron does have a bad name (unjustified IMO). The fact that Intel rushed its move into the <$1000 market by introducing an inferior product is perhaps the lucky break AMD needed. So far so good.
