"There was another rumor that I don't think was going on and that is that we are talking about some sweetheart deal," he said, referring to a USA Today newspaper report that the companies were in talks for AT&T to pay to market its services on AOL." Perhaps we are feeling a some effect of buy on the rumor, sell on the news. That $500 million dollar sweetheart deal would have been nice. S.
