Yes, it will be interesting to see if the yen selling in Asia-Pacific
continues tonight. Baker's comment about letting the dollar continue to weaken was what the WSJ and NYT cited at the time as one of the
events that precipitated the crash in 1987. He made the comments the
wed. before the crash.

with rates backing up here and down to nil on the short-end in Japan
you earn points on a long dollar position every day...even if there is no change in rates.

Tomorrow will be an interesting day.
