<Who would you trust to give a technical opinion--an MIT freshman, or Anand (a high school kid)? Not to say this MIT guy is right on all his facts (he clearly isn't). Just food for thought.>

I've had a Computer Architecture professor who was totally off-the-mark when he said that the Pentium (Classic) translated CISC instructions to RISC. This professor, not surprisingly, was also a big fan of the PowerPC architecture.

TO ALL: Approx. at ONE Thirty PM today after hovering above 116 for most of the day (on the plus side) , iNTEL started a decline on volume of over five points in about an hour until it slowly recovered to a smaller loss by the close. Anyone know any news or new analyst report that may have triggered this?

Regards,

DARBES

>>Who would you trust to give a technical opinion<<

No need to trust anyone. As is often said on this thread, you have to "make it so".

Let us assume for a moment that what he wrote was verbatim what the AMD spokesman said. The question is how much do you believe the spokesman?
