Bad mag may mean small ore. Pyrrhotite is usually associated. The target is a bullseye so there is some mag. The width of the mag may tell the depth of the orebody. Knowing the centre of gravity of the orebody will tell you its size from the mag. If it was 1000 feet then the mag would be large indeed. (2000 to 3000 feet wide.) That all depends on geometry.
