Anybody who thinks that DELL isn't after every company's technology in the office enviornment is only kidding themselves. They are already vending the stuff of at least 2 storage companies. The IBM/DELL news piece said they would be going into a number of areas together, not just DD's. If you think they're going to stay out of MTI's storage area, you must not know these 2 companies, or you just haven't read the piece:

"... IBM will supply Dell with a range of key computer components... including... network attachments... "

"... the $16 billion pact was only the ''beginning'' of a close partnership and could lead to further supply arrangements."

There simply isn't any reason to go with MTI except price, and they're already giving their stuff away. Look at their cash and their earnings.
