Could the lawsuit by Intuit have anything to do with the deal signed by Billserv (BLLS), I saw this post on YAhoo.

>>intuit is major share holder with inside information
If they were pissed offed about the potal deal the law suite would have hit 2 weeks ago. The fact is it hit on the heals of the billserv. contract wich is direct competition to
intuits small to medium sized market opps. <<

Could Intuit be scared about the future of BLLS and CKFR, are they worried about losing more market share to this new up and comer. If this is the case I want to buy more BLLS.

CheckFree is seen as overvalued because it's not in control of its growth rate

This makes no sense, unless Lehman is stupid enough to have just found this out!

Lehman expects the Intuit lawsuit will be settled….

Well then, why cut if they believe settlement is imminent?

CheckFree's inquiry rate could jump to as high as 2 percent in the near-term as more people begin using electronic bill payment services -

Historically, inquiry rates jump any time a new service, not just CheckFree's is MASS ADOPTED! Then as customers learn the ropes it goes back down just as fast!

These are all…in good old fashioned English,
Bull Shit!!!

Skeptic that I am, makes me wonder what kind of relationship Lehman has with MS/FDC/CITI, individually or collectively!

"Pete Kight's (CheckFree CEO) a smart man - he asked: what's it going to cost me to break my deal with Intuit?" said Bellini. If CheckFree honors its agreement with Intuit, it won't be able to go after other deals until 2000. By then, competitors could block them out of the market.

So that's the time limit 2000?
