Leif- Just clear things up for you, three points:
1) The past/future performance has been argued ad infinitum. The previous bet with Daniel was made to end the discussion. Since then, ericy has been flat, the q is up 40%. As you know, I suggested we reset and start again on the close of 2/22/99, ericy vs. q vs. nokia. Nokia has slaughtered everyone in the last few years. Let's see what happens now. The wildcard is the q/ericy deal. I think the q's stock price will improve more than ericy's as a result of the deal, but who knows?

2) Although cdma's dominance has occurred slower than I thought, two things are certain: 1) cdma is the fastest growing wireless tech ever and 2) the 3g is cdma.

3) My banter with the ericy crowd has centered around 3 things:
1) everything will end up cdma
2) ericy will be less successful without a cdma license
3) ericy competitive tactics are deceitful and dishonest
So far I've been right all along Leif.
