As I understand it the initial product will be storage which never used Intel processors anyway. Longer term the high end enterprise arena will be using the Intel Merced chip and Intel is definitely banking on playing in that arena to keep their margins up. They plan to charge thousands of dollars per chip. However one of the earlier posts indicated that IBM specifically excluded processors from the deal, and while IBM has rights to some Intel processor versions, they don't have rights to Merced to my knowledge. In any case Intel has plans to license the IBM copper technology as do most semiconductor manufacturers. While IBM may collect some royalties from Intel, this is old news and should already be discounted in Intels share price.
