"The California company's conference call this week, led by CEO Thinh Tran, revealed that Sigma (SIGM) is winning business from C-Cube Microsystems' (CUBE) largest digital video disk customer, Creative Technologies (CREAF). "This effectively gives Sigma Designs a 100 percent market share in the PC-DVD upgrade kit market," says shareholder Glenn Holbert."

From your article link.

Who the heck is Glenn Holbert?
100 percent market share? Who is Quadrant?

Creative uses Cube for the Encore Dxr2 (CT7120)line used in the 2x & 5x kits (good volume, skimpy margins).
Creative also use Luxsonor for their lower end PC-DVD Inlay (CT7160) OEM line (lower volume, skimpy margins).

From what I've heard Creative now has three DVD decoder suppliers that they're playing against each other for pricing.
Who ever has the lowest supply cost get's the biz this quarter, but
it could very well be different next quarter.
