Intel bought SHIVA for about $ 6 a share (on the cheap!). If they think this LEVL deal is cheap, they must be rolling in dough! LEVL is making out really good, nearly doubling in value! I saw an analyst on CNBC a few minutes ago. He reiterates a strong buy on INTC at these levels with a $ 150 target for 1999 and $ 200 by year 2000. With the release of the new Pentium, shares should take off by summer. Most analyst think $ 109 is the bottom for the immediate term, and the DELL/IBM news today has practically ended the tech. decline for the immediate future! Happy trading!

Not to my knowledge. As best I can tell, almost all their profits continue to come from selling microprocessors for PCs. Their revenue base is somewhat diversified, but their profit base is not.
