Judy, you said to tell you when I got a buy on AMAT, well I got a class 2 and it is only the first one (I usually let it trigger at least twice before acting on it). Now, let me add a few things before I lean you toward a slaughter. I have very little faith in this market over all and especially techs so it could be a fake signal or a blip before a bigger drop but it did trigger so far. I would rather see it turn into a class 1 and some broad market bullish signs but just in case you visited my site and saw the trigger then AMAT jumped to 4000 or something I end up on your poo poo list forever, thought I would let you know.

Note also my signals are geared toward options so they are only looking for small pops in price that I can scalp off a few points on and work best in a fairly steady market which we are not in. Now with all the disclaimers out of the way.

The Momentum oscillator is in the over sold area and the stochastic is also in the over sold region and turned up slightly. There were 2 class 3 buys that are like get ready signals. The CCI also showed a buy (but I don't trust it very much). What I don't like about it though is the RSI is still in the 40s vs below 30 where reversals usually happen.

I would probably wait until Monday and see what happens but I am over cautious most of the time and miss more trades than I get. Tech land still looks weak to me so far but if we can stay stable, AMAT might be one of the first to turn.

Good Luck,

Lee
